The Mini Head Signature is designed around the Burr Brown OPA227 opamp, a sonically neutral, high performance voltage amplifier that drives an Intersil HA-5002 high current buffer, capable of driving headphones from 16 ohms up to 300 ohms. I put every bit of performance-enhancing technology that possible into the six cubic inch enclosure, including socketed opamps, class A biasing, a NiMH battery that recharges inside the amplifier, a voltage regulator for the (included) AC power supply, Nichicon Muze and Wima capacitors and metal film resistors.

Detail, imaging, power - it's all there.  Plus, the Mini Head Signature can take the punishment of an active lifestyle. The extruded alminum case and custom-milled end panels protect the amplifier from whatever you can dish out. The metal shaft of the volume control won't break off.  The Mini Head Signature will still sound great, no matter how badly you treat it!
